INGREDIENTS

FOR 2 SERVINGS OF AIR FRYER FISH AND CHIPS
300 g of white fish fillets (cod, plaice, or tilapia)
400 g of potatoes
10 ml of olive oil spray
5 g of salt
2 g of pepper
2 g of paprika (optional)
2 g of garlic powder (optional)
50 g of flour or breadcrumbs (optional)
1 lemon
5 g of fresh parsley

PREPARATION

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (392°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix the extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper, spices, and chosen herbs.
  3. Cut the potatoes into slices about 1 cm thick and toss them in the bowl with the prepared seasoning, mixing well to coat evenly.
  4. Prepare the fish by cutting it into uniform-sized pieces, then dip them into the same oil and seasoning marinade for at least 10 minutes.
  5. Place the seasoned potatoes and marinated fish in the air fryer basket, making sure not to overcrowd.
  6. Cook at 200°C (392°F) for about 10-15 minutes, turning the potatoes and fish halfway through for even browning on both sides.
  7. Serve the fish and potatoes hot, drizzling with a bit of raw olive oil and optionally garnishing with additional fresh herbs.

STORAGE

Once cooked, the fish and fries can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. To maintain crispiness, reheat in the air fryer at 180°C (356°F) for 3-5 minutes.

TIP

Serve the fish and fries with homemade sauces such as garlic mayonnaise, tartar sauce, or a light lemon vinaigrette to enhance the flavors.
