Crispy Oven-Baked Potatoes

PRESENTATION

Welcome! Today I want to delight you with a crispy and light specialty: our Crispy Oven-Baked Potatoes made with an air fryer.

The potatoes are carefully cut and seasoned with a blend of spices that enhance their natural flavor. They are then cooked in the air fryer, a method that combines the traditional taste of frying with the health benefits of baking.

The result? A perfect snack or an ideal side dish for any meal. The potatoes maintain their creamy texture inside while becoming golden and irresistibly crispy on the outside.

Whether you prefer them as a side dish for a family dinner or as a snack to enjoy in front of the TV, our Crispy Oven-Baked Potatoes made in the air fryer are always a hit. With no excess oil added, you can savor every bite with the assurance of a healthy choice.

INGREDIENTS

FOR ABOUT 2 PEOPLE
400 g of potatoes (preferably yellow or red flesh)
2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil (about 30 ml)
Fine salt to taste
Ground black pepper to taste
Sweet or smoked paprika to taste
Garlic powder to taste
Dried herbs (rosemary, thyme, oregano) to taste

PREPARATION

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (392°F).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the sliced potatoes with the extra virgin olive oil, salt, pepper, spices, and dried herbs.
  3. Arrange the seasoned potato slices in the air fryer basket, making sure to spread them out in a single layer.
  4. Cook at 200°C (392°F) for about 20-25 minutes, flipping the potatoes halfway through to ensure even browning on both sides.
  5. Once cooked and golden, serve the Crispy Oven-Baked Potatoes from the air fryer immediately, optionally garnishing with a bit of extra salt and additional fresh herbs if desired.

STORAGE

Once cooked, the potatoes can be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container for 2-3 days. However, to maintain their crispiness, it’s best to consume them immediately after preparation.

TIP

Experiment with different spices and herbs to vary the flavor of the potatoes. You can also add grated Parmesan or sliced cheese before cooking for an extra touch of flavor.
